Adelaide Skin
- Body Care Secrets
Adelaide
skin
beauty care clinics are a great place to pamper yourself.
Whether you prefer a body treatment with essential oils, an
invigorating body scrub, a seaweed wrap, or any other such
relaxing spa treatment, you can find all these treatments and
more at your local Adelaide
skin
care salon. Spa body treatments are used for a variety of
reasons, such as to relax your body, increase blood
circulation, reduce cellulite, moisturize and rehydrate the
skin, and remove dry skin. We have gathered together some home
spa treatment tips for you to pamper yourself in the comfort of
your own home so that you can have an Adelaide
skin.
Some home body treatments
include:
v
For dry skin mix together vitamin E oil, sesame oil, apricot
kernel oil, cocoa butter, and fresh ginger
juice. Heat
this mixture until all the oils blend together and the
cocoa butter melts. Massage onto dry skin
morning and night.
v
For a moisturizing body scrub mix together water, sugar and
liquid glycerin to form a paste, mix in the solid coconut
butter until it is melted and a few drops of your favourite
essential oil, such as lavender or rose oil. Let this mixture
cool. Massage over
your body after a warm shower or bath.
v
For an invigorating body scrub combine coarsely ground coffee
granules, coarse sea salt, and a massage oil such as almond
oil. Apply this
all over your body using wide circular
motions.
Rinse mixture off in the shower and apply a body
moisturizer.
v
For a home spa facial treatment use three tablespoons of fine
oatmeal, two tablespoons of chopped parsley, and combine with
some fresh grapefruit juice. Mix together to form a paste
then apply this to your face. Once the paste has dried,
rinse off with warm water. Follow with your favourite
moisturizer.
v
For a moisturizing facial wash cover and boil some dried
lavender and rose petals. Once cooled strain the water into a
glass bottle.
Store in a refridgerator. This makes a wonderful
moisturizing and refreshing facial
wash.
v
For a home eye mask treatment soak finely chopped almonds in a
small amount of water for at least one hour. Strain the water and use the
almond residue as a gentle scrub on the face. The almond water is very good
for removing dark eye circles and rejuvenating the eye
area.
v
For a moisturising spa hand treatment mix some fresh avocado,
honey, rice bran, egg yolk, and a few drops of evening primrose
oil. Massage this
all over your hands and feet and leave for 20
minutes.
v
For a relaxing hand spa treatment mix together almond oil with
butter and store in the refridgerator. Massage this mixture onto
your hands each night before bed and cover your hands with
cotton gloves (socks can work just as well). By morning time you will have
soft, smooth hands.
v
Avocado and egg yolk are good for skin nourishment, and evening
primrose oil keeps your skin soft, supple, and
healthy.
v
Aromatherapy essential oils are very beneficial for the health
of not only your skin, but also for your whole
body.
Whether you wish to visit your local Adelaide
skin
care professional for a relaxing spa body treatment, or whether
you would like to pamper yourself at home with your own
homemade spa treatments, looking after your body is something
you should make a regular occurance.
